The ustaad of box office Kichcha Sudeep in his first media address on Kotigobba 2 that is releasing on August 12 says it is a straight subject and the reason behind having audio launch in Chennai was the belief that the simultaneously made in Kannada and Tamil was billed as dubbed film.

‘Kotigobba 2’ and Iva Mudinja Pudi were simultaneously made and there is no need to doubt about it. By having an audio release in Chennai we want to show that it is original film in Tamil. After trailer and songs they are confirmed that it is original. The business for dubbed film is different and original is different says Kichcha Sudeep in the absence of producer Soorappa Babu. Babu was busy in finalizing on the sale of film in Tamil Nadu and release of the film in over 2000 screens.

Director of this bilingual film KS Ravikumar of some of the top films In Tamil (remember Panchatantram, Dashavatharam, recent Lingaa) says the film is based on Shivakumar story. We have shot in Bengaluru, Mysuru, climax in Ooty. Ravikumar says he has also made a step in song sequence of the film. The film has ample opportunity to heroine Nithya Menon he says.

Nithya Menon of ‘Josh and Myna’ fame in Kannada says she has a very interesting role and acting with Sudeep was another attraction. Looking at Sudeep, I feel like directing him in the forthcoming days says the pretty chubby cheek Nithya Menon.

Kichcha Sudeep explained on the need of keeping this title Kotigobba 2. After shoot started he realised that it is the perfect title. The title like Gandu Mahagandu, Shoora Mahashoora, Sudeepa-Sudeepa were discussed for titles he says. Apparently Sudeep has two roles to perform in this film.
